BELGIAN GRAND PRIX 2022

The Belgian Grand Prix is a current Formula One race on the calendar. Since its beginning in 1925, the race has been held mostly at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, but in the 1970s and early 1980s, it was relocated to Circuit Zolder and Nivelles-Baulers. The current circuit is a seven-kilometer-long version of the Spa track.
The 2020 Belgian Grand Prix was one of the few races on the calendar to take place on its original date. The event was on the verge of being canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic and Belgian restrictions on large gatherings. However, organizers were granted special permission to hold the race behind closed doors. Spa’s contract to host the Belgian Grand Prix was extended to 2022 in June 2020. Fans returned to the track for the 2021 Belgian Grand Prix, but there was no Formula 1 racing action. Because of the rain, the race was the shortest in the sport’s history, with only a few laps completed behind the Safety Car.
The Belgian Grand Prix is a must-see event for any F1 fan. Every summer, thousands of fans flock to the Ardennes Forrest to witness the race, which has been described as a “church of speed in the forest.”
Nothing beats seeing the world’s fastest cars soaring through Eau Rouge and Raidillon or congregating at the La Source hairpin at the start of the race. It looks good on TV and is a tempting prospect in person.
While camping is required in Spa, which is located in a remote area of Belgium, it provides an opportunity for both novice and experienced road trippers.
